Yesterday saw two of our arb teams heading to Paignton to complete a short-notice, high-priority job: the removal of a 50-metre hedge to make way for a new fencing installation.

The client had been let down by another contractor and needed the work completed quickly. We reshuffled our schedule to accommodate the request, sending two teams with trucks, chipper units, and the tools required to complete the task quickly and efficiently.

Before work began, we confirmed the client had carried out a nesting bird inspection, and our teams performed a second check on arrival — reinforcing our commitment to wildlife protection and environmental responsibility.

In just a few hours, the entire hedge was removed, processed, and chipped, with four van loads of material cleared from the site. The client was thrilled with the result, praising the speed and professionalism of our response.

To add even more value, we were also able to support Clennon Valley Allotments, just minutes from the site, by delivering fresh woodchip for reuse.
